“Mothering the mother” is what I was called to do. Having three of my four children under the age of four in a foreign country with no support I came to realize that no one should have to mother alone, I needed professional support, love and guidance as I waded through my postpartum years feeling lost and confused. This put me on a journey to find my passion and myself in the process. As a birth and postpartum doula and a postpartum care specialist I am part of amazing group of woman with The Birth Hub offering doula services and antenatal courses and I head up a small charity making up packs for False Bay Hospital of much needed nappies, pads and other essential items.
